I hate it when pictures look so nice on a camera, then they look like shit on the computer. So I had to use Kodak's colour editing for this one, which is rather obvious, but nonetheless I like this photo.
What kind of flower is it anyway...?

lol i know exactly what you mean! i took a couple of up-close plant photos with an old-school canon (meaning it's not digital) and i just KNOW when the film gets developed they're going to be all grainy.
but anyways, i really like the focus of this shot. nice work + great colors
indeed lol. it's like when you find a really pretty stock photo but when you full-view it's super grainy and then you can't really work with it unless you resize to an unworkable size. >_>
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

Thankies! ^^ Thank God I finally got a camera that actually uses focus. The one I used to have is like stone-age prototype.
Do you have any idea why pictures look so much worse on the computer?
