Why yes, I am quite passionate about this. Thanks for asking.
How would I know? Because I have one. And you know what? She's passed every single Mary-Sue test I've ever put her through, and almost everyone that I've roleplayed her with/exposed her to has said she's not a Mary Sue. Like one person said she was a Sue. I've also never seen a backstory significantly similar to hers. In other words, almost everyone and every thing that actually read her information did not think she was a Mary Sue, stupid, or cliche. The only people who have ever given me remote trouble/have refused to draw her because she's a "fan character" are the people that hadn't even gotten her information yet, only knew that she was a "fan character". Wanna challenge that? |
